Located beside Lake Herthasee, this hostel in the elegant Grunewald district of Berlin offers non-smoking rooms with shared bathrooms and a la carte breakfast. Set in the former Mendelssohn Palace, the Jugendgästehaus St.-Michaels-Heim has quiet and spacious rooms. Guests can relax in the beer garden overlooking Lake Herthasee. German and international food can be enjoyed in the restaurant until 22:00. The Grunewald S-Bahn (City Rail) Station is an 8-minute drive from the St.-Michaels-Heim. 3 bus stations are also within a 5-minute walk away from the property. Parking is free at the St.-Michaels-Heim Jugendgästehaus.
