In winter, the Winterberg ski resort is a highlight: with over 20 lifts and 34 slopes, there are pistes for every skill level. The nearest slope is just 100 meters from our holiday apartment. But there's plenty to do in summer as well. Hikers can explore the many trails and take in the stunning Sauerland scenery, while mountain bikers will find exciting tracks for all levels. Families will love the summer toboggan run and the famous bobsleigh track, where you can race through the curves at speeds of up to 130 km/h. For thrill-seekers, the ASTENKICK, the second longest megazipline in Europe, is a must! Here, you’ll zoom down into the valley at over 70 km/h. At the Winterberg Climbing Forest, you can challenge yourself on exciting obstacle courses. For relaxation and breathtaking views, the Panorama Adventure Bridge offers a fantastic lookout over Winterberg. If you're interested in culture and history, the Ramsbeck Visitor Mine allows you to dive into the fascinating world of mining. Even beyond the action, there's plenty to do: visit the Wildpark am Ettelsberg, where you can observe native animals in their natural habitat, or unwind at the tropical Lagoon Adventure Pool Aqua Mundo. For day trips, the Diemelsee and Hennesee lakes are ideal for a scenic walk or boat tour. Golf enthusiasts will find excellent courses in the area, and at Hillebachsee, you can enjoy water skiing.
