Set in an 18th century building, this guest house is situated in a forest clearing, just 2 km from the village of Oberhof. Ideal for hikers, it features a charming garden and quiet rooms with free WiFi. Obere Schweizerhütte is a historic building offering traditionally decorated rooms. All rooms have satellite TV, a radio, a seating area, mountain views and a bathroom with hairdryer. A breakfast buffet is available for an additional charge, and in the evening the restaurant offers local Thuringian specialities. Coffee and cake are also available, as well as a relaxing beer garden. Obere Schweizerhütte is an excellent base for local outdoor recreation activities, with a ski lift just 350 metres away and a variety of hiking trails in the summer. Zella-Mehlis Train Station is 15 km away, and the Oberhof Bus Station is just a 20-minute walk from the guest house.
