Property information

This holiday flat in the middle of Bad Harzburg is ideal for family holidays or romantic stays for two. It is located on the first floor of the former Hotel Schloss Prinzenhof and has been completely modernised. The open kitchen with dining area is well equipped, including induction hob, oven, dishwasher and all necessary utensils. In the cosy living room with a large sofa you can watch cable TV and stream via the free Wi-Fi. A quiet balcony offers views of the inner courtyard. The flat has real wood flooring, generous window fronts and a master bedroom with box spring bed and sliding door wardrobe. An additional (children's) bedroom with a queen-size bed is located in a separate room. The modern bathroom contains a ground-level shower, a bathtub and a double sink. Electric fireplace, jacket dryer and underfloor heating provide comfort. In the basement of the house there is a shared laundry room with washing machine, dryer and drying room. A free car parking space is available in front of the house.

Neighbourhood information

Bad Harzburg is often described as "the gateway to the Harz mountains" and in addition to its centuries-old tradition as a world spa, it also has many new attractions to offer. Within walking distance of the accommodation are the popular tree-top walk, the Burgberg cable car, the BaumSchwebeBahn, the Sole-Therme spa with healing waters and the unique Café Winuwuk. Countless hiking trails start right on the doorstep: for example, the Wildcat Trail to the Marienteichbaude or the Lynx Tour to the lynx enclosure at the Rabenklippen. For the more demanding, the Teufelsstieg (Devil's Path) offers a direct route over 13 kilometres and 950 metres of altitude from Bad Harzburg to the legendary Brocken. The Harz Golf Club invites you to improve your handicap with 18 holes in the middle of the town. Once a year, the horse racing week takes place on a beautifully situated course at the Bad Harzburg stud meadows for friends of horse racing. There is much more to discover!
