You won't find another accommodation like this, which is both historic and unique.
This medieval gate tower is located on the castle grounds of Castle Gießen near Lake Constance.
The thick walls include two rooms, one above the other.
Wood that has been lovingly prepared and exudes cosiness, and the exposed castle wall determine the atmosphere inside.
The well-equipped kitchenette and modern bathroom offer comfort.
We live in the house next door and can usually be reached by cell phone when we are away.
The area is agricultural with few residential buildings in the area.
We recommend getting around by bike or car. The nearby bus stop is a 5 minute walk away.
From the train station in Kressbronn there are good connections to Lindau and Friedrichshafen.
You can get there by bike:
- 5 minutes to the next farm shop
- 5 minutes to the nearest bakery
- 15 minutes to the center of Kressbronn/train station
- 20 minutes to the lakeshore in Kressbronn
- 5 minutes to the beautiful Argen cycle/hiking path
