It is 50 metres from the beach and a 5-minute walk from the ferry port. Built in 1904, the Hotel Villa Caldera today offers modern rooms with private bathrooms and TVs. Some rooms include a balcony overlooking the sea. A rich breakfast buffet is provided each morning at the non-smoking Villa Caldera. Ferries run to the Heligoland islands from the nearby port.
