A couple with two children who live in Billund close to the property and try to ensure guests get the best possible stay. English and Danish spoken. Apartment in quiet residential area renovated 2023. The property has been designed to suit families and has the facilities needed for a longer stay. There is free off road parking at the property and safe easy walking routes to town centre, legohouse, etc. The main building is split into two self contained family apartments. Each apartment its own private entrance, bathroom kitchen and enclosed rear garden. The two apartments also share a second garden with mature oak trees, garden seating and a large barbecue, childs sandpit etc. We often see wild pheasants in the morning! The apartment is ideal for 6 to 8 people. You can squeeze 10 people using the two bedsettees in the living room. The dining table seats 8. Checkin is after 4pm (KeyBox) checkout 10am. We can store luggage before/after your stay. The flats are full of games and toys, there is Internet but no televisions. We try and meet all our guests and ensure they know the best of the local area and have a great stay. We like to make the guests aware we have soundproofed the property as much as is practical but you share a common wall with the flat next door. If kids get really excited on one side, you may hear it on the otherside. It's a family holiday home not a yoga retreat :-). The living room can not be totally blacked out (roof window) A copy of the lead guests' European ID or photo passport page is required for checkin. Quiet hours 11pm to 7am. The property cannot be booked for parties.

Quiet residential area, in forest zone. Easy safe walk into town (750m), possible to walk to Legoland (or just catch the bus). Barbecue the night away in, play in the sand pit and enjoy nature. 750m to centre (supermarket) and legohouse and the local pub. Lalandia 2.6km. 1km to Billund bus station 2.2km to legoland. Approx 3km to airport. Bicycles can be rented at the bicycle shop in Billund for around 80kr a day. Grena sands and the Severn year lakes are nearby and you can be in vejle in 30 to 60mins (driving or bus) for a city experience with a nice beach swimming area, that is a lot more sheltered than the West Coast. Ribe the oldest city in Denmark and Jelling with ancient burial mounds and a museum (a really cool place for a picnic!) make great days out. Taking an early bus to Veljle and jumping on the train (or using Flix bus from Billund airport) mean you can even do a daytrip to Copenhagen. In Billund everyone is here to have fun but the property is in a residential area with great friendly neighbors. The property cannot be booked as a party venue and we do ask for you to be considerate in terms of noise at night. Bicycles can be hired in the town Legoland, Lalandia, Wow Park, Billund Airport, Jelling, Legohouse, Lego campus, Jelling, Fjordenhus, Koldinghus, Giveskud zoo, Binderballe, Albuen Strand.
