The traditional, Danish, thatched guesthouse is nestled in between, old trees and a waste garden with a rich bird life.
Both the front and back garden is accesable for guests and breakfast can be enjoyed sitting in garden chairs by a cafe table outside. For cooler evenings, the living room has a cozy wood burning stove to sit around ( fire wood can be bought for a smaller fee ).The house is thoughtfully renovated in natural materials and should have all requirements for a cozy and relaxing vacation close to nature.
Upon request a breakfast basket can be ready upon arrival for a fee of 150kr plus the cost of the groceries that day.
This basket can include:
Local sourdough bread, Danish Knækbrød, hard cheese, brie, butter, jam, coffee, tea, musli, milk and honey.
We are a family with three kids and two cats that live and work next door . We have a big garden, where we grow food and enjoy having many people and guests around.
We love living on this beautiful island and are happy to share our recommendations with guests.
The guesthouse is located in Æbelnæs ( referring to a former wetland that was in this region in the past )
A rare, european green toad and the burgyndy snail are frequently seen in the garden and green house as a result.
The guesthouse is located on Grønsundvej, a road that connects to the whole island, both by bike, foot or car.
Rytzebæk beach and Fanefjord forest are a 8 min drive away and the town, Stege with all shopping facilities, pharmacy, local markets etc is only a 7 min drive.
A list of local recommendations to see and experience on Møn is available in the guesthouse.
