The garden is also home to small wild berry bushes that invite you to pick berries in season. The local area offers fantastic nature experiences and cultural offers. Smidstrup Beach is known for its beauty and is one of the few places in Denmark where dogs can run free. Gilleleje Harbor is worth a visit for its charming environment and freshly caught seafood. For hiking enthusiasts, Heatherhill is also within easy reach and offers impressive landscapes. For more than six guests, the annex will be available for use. For six guests or less, the main house will be used. Meet Selma We are Selma, Andreas, baby Barbara and our four-legged friend Philip. We are the owners of this beautiful thatched cottage that we fell in love with and bought in spring 2024. The house is our lovely retreat: a place for relaxation and our beloved contrast to the bustle of the big city of Copenhagen. For us, life in our cottage means fresh seafood from Gilleleje Harbor, blackberry hunting in the garden, long walks with Philip on the nearby 'dog beach' and a book in front of the fireplace while dinner simmers.
