Here you can unplug, find calm, and feel the seasons shift near both the sea and the open countryside. Our cottage lies peacefully just a short walk from Vejby Strand’s unique coastline, dotted with small lagoons and cliffs, with steps leading down to the narrow beach. The area is known for its breathtaking views over the Kattegat and nearby natural sights like the rolling, heather-covered hills of Heatherhills, reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. The area is part of the Danish Riviera – the coastline between Tisvildeleje, Gilleleje, and Hornbæk – known for its unique light, charming seaside villages, and proximity to both sea and forest. Here, peace and beauty abound, yet Copenhagen remains just about an hour’s drive away. ⚡ Electricity usage Electricity is billed according to actual consumption at a friendly rate of DKK 3.00 per kWh (including all taxes and grid fees) Payment is settled via a secure Stripe link together with full documentation of your usage (Here in Denmark, we can log into eloverblik .dk to view consumption by the hour) For your peace of mind: most guests use between 5 and 20 kWh per day ⸻ 🔥 Firewood To make your evenings extra cozy, there will be firewood ready for you at the cottage. We charge DKK 50 per large basket, which is much cheaper than in stores — and it helps us care for both the economy and our planet 🌍 ⸻ 🧺 Washing machine The washing machine is available for use during your stay. We charge a symbolic fee of DKK 30 per wash.
