I live across the street from the beach. There are numerous restaurants, bakeries and bars within walking distance. It is about a quarter of a mile to Calle Duarte, the Main Street of Las Terrenas. It is easy to walk to most places - restaurants, grocery store, bank. If you have a car, there is a parking place provided. There are motorcycle taxis on the main road if you want to get there faster, or for places that are farther away. It's best to barter the price down.
