Hello! We are Tatiana and Maria, daughter and mother. We are originally from Quito, Ecuador, but now we live in Los Angeles, CA. Our family owns Casa LunaLoma, a beautifully restored 100-year-old colonial house in the heart of Old Town Quito. It is the house where my mother and her eight siblings were raised. Our family has now opened the doors of this special home to guests visiting Ecuador. We are passionate about El Centro Colonial of Quito, urban revitalization, social impact work, ecotourism, and design. Please feel free to reach out to us and connect if you are new to Quito and are looking for pointers and recommendations!

周边信息
Casa LunaLoma is located in Barrio La Loma Grande, a traditional colonial residential neighborhood in Old Town Quito. This neighborhood will give you an authentic, immersive experience of the day-to-day Old Town Quito life. We are not in the center of the highly touristic areas, but within a convenient 5-15 minute walk to all the key landmarks and must-see areas of Colonial Quito such as:
- Plaza de Iglesia de Santo Domingo y Plaza Grande (5 min)
- Calle La Ronda (6 mins)
- Plaza San Francisco (12 min)
- Plaza de la Independencia & Presidential Palace (14 min)
- La Compañia Church and all other churches (12 min)
As with any Latin American cities, common sense safety should always be exercised at all times. Pick pocketing exists in QuitHistoric Center as it is attended by many tourists. La Loma Grande is not the gentrified part of Quito, which is what gives its unique character. During the day you will feel safe walking and enjoying the beauty of Old town Quito. In the afternoon, after 5 pm we recommend using a taxi to return home, the price are very convenient. Esteban, your Host in Quito will be a great resource to give you any additional information for safety.
