The location cannot be beat! Right in the heart of Old Town and so easily accessible/walkable to everything. It’s so cool to be in a house from the 1400s and yet has all the modern amenities and comforts.

Bishop's Residence is a studio apartment in the oldest surviving private house on Toompea Hill, a national monument in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town. Conveniently located two metres and 41 centimetres from the Dome Church, the 15th century house used to serve for centuries as the Arch Bishop's residence.
We, your hosts, live next door — the only other residence in the house — and we’re genuinely delighted to welcome you wherever you may come from and show what Estonia and Tallinn Old Town have to offer. Kadri is a sommelier, restaurateur, and journalist specializing in wine, food, and travel, with a degree in Baltic German history. She occasionally organizes private guided tours, wine tastings, and cooking events exploring the culture and cuisine of the region’s noble families — something worth asking about if you’d like to experience Tallinn beyond the usual tourist trail. Arho is a startup entrepreneur also with an interest in history and architecture. Together, we’ve also been three times fortunate to win the Tallinn Museum Authorities’ annual prize for the best renovation project and preserving the living history of the Old Town.
Bishop's Residence is located on a quiet cu-de-sac street on Toompea Hill just next to the Dome Church, sandwiched between the Parliament and Government of Estonia, both just 200 metres away. Tallinn's vibrant Lower Old Town and Telliskivi Creative City are also just a short walk away, but their nightlife noise does not reach up the hill.
