Property information
The Shahhat House is located in a absolutely amazing place, just in front of magnificent Medinet Habu Temple and very close to many other ancient Egyptian historical sites. The view from the tarrace is stunning. You may enjoy the look of the ancient temple with the Theban Mountains in the background... Truly amazing!!! Old Coptic church is walking distance to the desert. Many other attractions of ancient Thebes are easy to reach by taxi, bikes or even donkey, camel or horse ride.
The house is just in front of Habu Temple, yest quiet and a bit hidden from the crowds.
You can relax in air conditioned rooms or in the top roof terrace on the roof with magnificent views. Every morning you can observe flying baloons (or even take part yourselves in the baloon ride). The house is decorated in a traditional Egyptian style, with dome ceilings and beautiful openwork decorations in the windows. You will find in the house all that is necessary for comfortable stay. Washing machine, kitchen equipped with necessary equipment, or to relax with TV or free wi-fi browsing.
We take care of the comfort of our guests, and cleanliness of the rooms and the whole property. Hand soap and toilette paper is always available. If something is missing just ask and we will organize it for you.
We speak English so you may come to us with any problems and any needs, we will help you to get wahatever you need. Is it a taxi, transfer to and from the airport, organization of the trip, guided tours to the temples - anything really what you need is at your hands.

Our area is simply amazing when it comes to touristic attractions. You will have easy access to all ancient Thebe's sites like temples, tombs, monuments, ruins. It is easy to get to Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Edfu Temple. Many other attractions are available like air baloons ride, horse, donkey and camel riding. You can rent bikes, have a trip on the River Nile to visit the Banana Island where you can eat the banana from the tree. You can take part in safari to the desert, where you spend a night with Beduins. You can have a full program of attractions for 1-2 weeks.
