It is only 12 kms from Cabezon de la Sal, where the A-8 Santander-Oviedo motorway runs, allowing you to travel quickly and easily to any beach or area of tourist interest.
Bathed by the river SAJA, where you can bathe in summer or go trout fishing in season, it is a quiet village, with its main source of income being high mountain livestock and popular crafts and to a lesser extent rural tourism.
