The B&B consists of several buildings, built on terraces. The three sleeping rooms with ajoining bathrooms are in two outbuildings on the upper terrace, which is centered by the large (11x4x1,80 m) swimming pool. On this level ther's also a roomy sundeck and several small private terraces Set on the lower terrace is the main house, the original cortijo, Here you find the outside dining area, the open kitchen and the "Cantina"(dining/sittingroom). We, the owners, are living in a seperate part of this building.

We are Leo Rietveld and Sandra Heijs. Originally from the Netherlands, but now living is Spain. In 2018 we bought Cortijo El Oasis and since 2019 we have been living here. renting out rooms to tourists. We love to welcome guests and have them enjoy the unspoilt rural envoirment, the peace and space, and everything that this beautiful coastal area has to offer, as much as we do ourselves.

Cortijo El Oasis is situated in the fruitful valley of the Rio Seco, seven kilometers from the popular beach resort of Almuñécar. Close enough to enjoy the beaches and all the tourist facilities there, far enough to provide a peacefull envoirment. We are situated in a lavish, mountainous area, surrounded by plantations of tropical fruit. Actually, we have a small plantation of mangos and avocados on the premises ourselves, In the garden you will also find lemon, lime orange, kumquat, fig banana and nispero trees and many more. We will be happy to show you around. Day trips to the very interesting cities of Granada and Málaga are easily made. Nearby is the impressive natural rerserve of the Sierra de Almijara. A bit further are the Sierra Nevada and the Alpujarras. In and around Almuñecar are several large and small beaches. There are possibilities for sun bathing, diving, supping and paragliding, as well as a waterpark, a sea aquarium and numerous interesting archeological sites. In the subtropical botanic Parque Majuelo are open air concerts during the summer, often very high quality flamenco.
