Cal Pesolet is a historic villa from the XVIII century surrounded by meadows and forests, 150 meters far from the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, in the heart of the Pyrenees. Placed in the small village of Nèfol, at the end of a cul-de-sac road, you will enjoy the most peaceful Cerdanya Valley. Safe for the for the kids, without traffic. Several trails to walk, run or bike start from here. Here the views are amazing! In villa Cal Pesolet you can eat breakfast seeing a wonderful panorama from the fields up to the valley. With a new deck insulation, solar panels, a biomass boiler and a chlorine free pool we are minimizing the ecological footprint of villa Cal Pesolet. The village of Nèfol is picture-perfect. It's nestled at the foot of the North face of the Cadí mountain range, where begins the big forest and the Natural Park. It was abandon in the seventies, when the last family that lived in villa Cal Pesolet moved to Puigcerdà, the capital of the valley. Without electricity, school, paved roads... life was hard. In year 2000, two families (one was mine, so crazy!) worked with the illusion to restore the village. Nowadays are 6 houses in the village of Nèfol, 2 holiday rental, one horse ranch and an ecological apple tree plantation. The Cerdanya Valley is one of the widest mountain valleys in Europe. With an altitude of 1000 meters, orientation from east to west and a high insolation of 3,000 hours of sunshine throughout the year. Snow in winter that allow to ski, snowshoeing or iceclimbing. Colorfull springs with tousand of flowers, hot and sunny days in summer when it's harvest time. Here are trees, plants and animals from boreal regions, coliving with african species. Our most precious cultural treasure is the Romanesque religious architecture: in every village you can find a little church built almost 1000 years ago.
