Casa Almachar is located in the center of the lively town of Cómpeta and boasts, from the roofterrace, a beautiful view to the sea in the distance. This 2-storey property has a living room, a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor. On the first floor is the bedroom with aircon, the bathroom and a toilet. A staircase leads, from the first floor, to the roofterrace. All rooms and spaces are private, you do not share this house with other guests. In front of the house is a patio with plants. Amenities: a.o. heating, aircon, smart TV, floor fans, washing machine, WIFI, beach towels. In Cómpeta you'll find supermarkets like Coviran, Eroski and Dia as wel as other grocery stores at a few minutes walking distance from the holiday home, they are open from 9h-21h. Malaga airport is 68km away (a 1 hour drive).

Together with my husband I live at some minutes walking from Casa Almachar. We speak languages: English, German, Dutch, Spanish. When you have a question during your stay, need help etc, you can always reach-out to us.

The holiday home is at a quiet street very near to the lively town center with its many bars and restaurants and between the squares Plaza Almijara, Plaza Vendinia and Plaza del Carmen. Great for breakfast, lunch, dining or for simply to enjoy a drink on a nearby terrace. A local bakery is only a short stroll away. Several supermarkets (Eroski, Coviran, Dia) and other grocery stores and shops are at 3...6 minutes walking distance. You can park your car at 3 walking minutes from the house (town center) like we all do, for example on Plaza del Carmen or at the main car park. Competa is known among hikers for the beautiful natural park 'Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama' which starts a short walk from the house and extends to the sea and Granada. Competa is 11 km inland and is connected to the coast by two good A-roads. The beaches are a mix between beaches with chiringuitos (Torrox, Torre del Mar) and natural beaches (Maro, Cerro Gordo natural reserve). Cómpeta is a nice base from which to explore this vast nature reserve, nearby beaches and for city trips to towns like Malaga, Nerja, Granada, Torre de Mar. There are many activities available, yoga, pilatus, tennis, pedal, mountain biking, hiking, road cycling, swimming, sports etc. Cómpeta is built against the foot of the mountains and has many small steep cobblestone streets, often with steps. This includes the streets in the town center and thus the streets to the holiday home. These streets give the village a lot of charm and tranquility. When with mobility issus or certain other conditions please know yourself, there are no level streets here!
