Welcome to Can Blanc de Montagut Located in the peaceful valley of the Fluvià River, Can Blanc de Montagut is a restored farmhouse offering an authentic nature experience, just 1.5 km from the A26, between Olot and Besalú. It is less than 30 minutes from the region’s main attractions. The house is divided into two distinct apartments, perfect for families, groups, and nature lovers. Can Blanc Baix: This rural accommodation features a spacious kitchen with views of the fields and mountains, equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, ceramic stove, oven, and all necessary kitchenware. The dining room, with a table for 10 people, is ideal for group meals and activities around the wood-burning stove. The apartment has three bedrooms with large 180x200 cm beds, a master suite with a sitting area, and a bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, bidet, and a changing table for diapers. Can Blanc Dalt: Ideal for active families and groups, with space for five people. The apartment blends rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring a living-dining room with a wood-burning stove and views of the fields and mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped. The two large bedrooms feature extra-large double beds and a single bed. The modern bathroom includes an open shower, toilet, sink, and a baby changing dresser. Guests have access to a shared garden, pool, and barbecue area. The accommodation has a private entrance and free public parking nearby.

Can Blanc de Montagut is situated in the 'Els Angles' neighborhood, a peaceful valley that features fields, a few houses, and a farm at the base of the well-known village of 'Castellfollit de la Roca'. The valley is shaped by the Fluvià River that flows through it. From the house, you can access several short and long hiking routes along the Fluvià, across the mountains, and all the way to Castellfollit de la Roca, which is just a 40-minute walk away. 3 walks around the house: Along the Fluvià (30 minutes) – A short stroll beside the river through the forest. Here, you'll encounter a variety of aquatic birds and fish. Walk to Castellfollit de la Roca (40 minutes) – A stunning mountain village perched on the edge of a 50-meter-high basalt cliff. Baumes de Caxurma Loop (2.5 hours) – A hike offering views of the Pyrenees, passing caves and skirting the edge of Castellfollit de la Roca. The Region: La Garrotxa Can Blanc de Montagut lies on the outskirts of the 'Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa'. This volcanic area is a remarkable natural region formed by 40 volcanic craters. It's renowned for its breathtaking hiking and cycling trails, historic villages, and delicious cuisine. Due to its excellent location, Can Blanc serves as an ideal base to explore the area. Highlights within a 30-minute drive: Castellfollit de la Roca (7 minutes by car or 40 minutes on foot) – A dramatic mountain village built on the edge of a 50-meter basalt cliff. Pont de Llierca (11 minutes by car) – A medieval bridge over the Llierca River where you can swim. Besalú (11 minutes by car) – A medieval town famous for its stone bridge. Sadernes (15 minutes by car) – The starting point for one of our favorite hikes to St. Aniol d'Aguja. An incredible walk along crystal-clear rivers with swimming spots. Olot (16 minutes by car) – The central town of La Garrotxa, offering a variety of activities.
