Abuelo Pepe is a renovated house with a lot of lovely spaces. We are in a spacious, functional and ideal hose for both two people as a group of family or friends. Casa Abuelo Pepe has direct access to the street through a small terrace with plants. From the hall we access the main floor where the living - dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom are located by a short flight of stairs. On the second floor which is accessed by another short flight of stairs is the other bedroom with bathroom, a bright gallery and the large terrace. The whole interior of the house has a lot of light and a carefull decoration, the house is equipped with free Wi-Fi and everything you need in furniture and in household items and kitchen to make the visitor a pleasant stay. The terrace is ideal for relaxing, eating while enjoying the barbecue or sunbathing, all surrounded by plants and a beautiful landscape that has beautiful views of much of the valley and the Hermigua´s ravine, the mountains and the Palenque mountain range.
My name is Eva and I will be happy to receive you in my house, I live in Hermigua and for this reason I can be more aware of the needs that my guests may have. The house takes its name from my maternal grandfather, who was a very enterprising people and although he had to live a large part of his life outside the island, I miss it daily, so he transmitted to his grandchildren his love for this land getting that Let's change our life in Madrid for La Gomera.
The situation of the house just 20 minutes by car from the Garajonay National Park declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, is ideal for hiking, in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation there are numerous roads such as the one that leads to the Caserío de Los Aceviños , or El Cedro. Practically in front of the house is the Ethnographic Museum of Hermigua ideal to know the history of the Island and just 10 minutes walk is the Park of El Curato, the health center, the pharmacy, supermarket and restaurants. The beaches of La Caleta and Santa Catalina, next to the old davit are suitable places for swimming, from May to September. The location of the house in relation to the town allows you not to have a rental car because the bus stop is a few meters from the entrance, as well as the public parking lot that is just 15 meters from the door, however for comfort and independence We recommend our visitors to rent their own vehicle. The pier of San Sebastián de la Gomera is 20 km away and the airport 30 km all along good roads that run through beautiful landscapes.
