The small house has 4 floors - connected by narrow and steep stairs - with a total of approx. 60 square meters: On the first floor there is an eat-in kitchen which is accessed from the street through a small outside terrace. On the second floor is the bedroom with double bed and a small Mediterranean bathroom. On the upper floor is the attic, which invites you to relax. There is a 2 meter long divan that can be used as a bed for a third person. A large glazed window gives access to the terrace, dominated by the castle and the tower of the Moorish queen. From there you also have a beautiful view over the city and the mountains. You can even see the sea in the distance. The small basement is unrenovated and serves as a storage room, where the washing machine is located for the use of the guest.
The small house was furnished by the owners, an artist couple, with their own works and renovated in such a way that you can feel the atmosphere of the old house. Therefore, it is deliberately not air-conditioned, but takes advantage of the thick walls and the chimney effect of the natural sea air.
La Casa al Castillo is located in one of the most beautiful streets of the old town of Cullera, at the end of a cul-de-sac, just where the staircase of the castle begins. The central market is a 2 minute walk away, from where you can explore the other stores, restaurants, bars, etc. in the center. You can also walk to the beach in 15 minutes along the Calle del Mar. The suburban train connection to Valencia is easily accessible by bus. The bus stop is 4 minutes walk from the house. Cullera is close to Valencia with one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca. A kilometer-long coastline with fine sandy shores and calm, crystal clear waters awaits you. One of the largest nature reserves of Spain (Albufera) is located in the immediate vicinity

In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety.

The traveler registration form must be filled in at check-in with the details of guests aged 16 and over. The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests. And also, the travel registrations must be registered by the host in a travel register book, which can be in physical or digital format, with a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 500 pages.
