We are Aurelija and Brian, a Lithuanian and Irish couple. We are keen weekend getaway artists, travellers, epicureans, cooks, and warm weather fans, so hospitality and our beloved Andalusia always seemed like a great fit. When we visited this villa we saw how our dreams of having our own B&B could become a reality, and now we want to share them with you. We want you to relax and feel at home at our place, and fall in love with beautiful Andalusia, whether for the first time, or over and over again. We live on site and we are always there to assist you with anything you might need.

Casa de Ámbar is a small family-owned Bed&Breakfast on the outskirts of Alhaurín el Grande. We are a very small place and we do not have a restaurant, but we can serve cold platters for dinner. We are located in a rural area surrounded by greenery and nature, so there is wildlife around. The phone signal is very weak in the house, but we have good WiFi to compensate. We would like to draw your attention to the location of our B&B. We are a rural property which does not have an address and the postal code covers the whole town, so please use the Google maps pin to arrive without complications. We are located 30 minutes from Málaga International Airport, and Málaga’s bustling city centre, as well as the sandy beaches and lively streets of Benalmádena and Fuengirola, and the upmarket surroundings of Marbella and Puerto Banús. There are other beaches on the coast if you prefer a more laid back vibe. Around an hour away you will find the stunning Caminito del Rey and the breathtaking city of Ronda.

Please take into consideration that there are no restaurants within walking distance, but there are lots of options 5 km from our property in the towns of Alhaurín el Grande and Coín. For golfers, the Seve Ballesteros designed Alhaurín golf club is 10 minutes away, as is the beautiful 27 hole Lauro Golf. The world famous Real Club de Valderrama and Finca Cortesin, host of the 2023 Solheim Cup, are just over an hour. Hikers will appreciate our proximity to the Sierra de las Nievas National Park, with its trails and dramatic beauty. The roads of Málaga province and Andalusia in general are popular with cyclists and usable year round, although we do actually get rain from time to time.
