Casa de Casal is NOT by the French Camino. Situated in Lestedo, just10 km from the city of Santiago de Compostela, this 18th-century country house is surrounded by gardens with waterfalls. Each room has free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. All rooms have views of the gardens or countryside. For breakfast, this accommodation serves homemade breakfast with fresh and local foods. The property also serves dinners with local products and vegetables from the property's garden. Bikes are available for rent and there are also many great hiking routes nearby. In the outskirts of Santiago there are magical places that do not come in the guides. I will be glad to help you discover them. Thanks to all the customers all over the world that every day, since 2000, teach us how beautiful it is to run a guesthouse. We await you with open arms As time goes by we gain wisdom but we lose the capacity to work for long hours. That is why we are sorry to inform you that from now on there will be no dinner service in July and August. The village provides good family restaurants. We will guide you to find the best ones

Our village Lestedo is a quiet place with just over 600 inhabitants who have known each other for a lifetime. The local restaurants serve typical Galician dishes at reasonable prices. They are not focused on the tourist, but on the people of the area. We are a few neighbors but we do not lack anything (supermarket, bars, various shops, hairdressers, pharmacy, taxi ...) We are in a very green area where cars hardly pass by. There are a couple of hiking trails, following the Via de la Plata Pilgrims' Way or towards the nearby mountain, Pico Sacro, from where you have a panoramic view that spans 30 kms around. That is, a place to disconnect from the noise and the rush of the city, enjoying life in the countryside.
