In the whole house there are 4 apartments, on each floor two each, which are mainly used by owners for themselves and only one of our apartment is rented out to tourists. Our neighbors are only there 2-3 times a year.

Yuri (Georg) Levenebrg was born in 1951 in the Soviet Republic of Ukraine. After graduation, he then studied economics and administration in mechanical engineering at the polytechnic college in Riga. Already in the late 70s, he tried in vain to leave the Soviet Union, which he should succeed later. In 1989, after overcoming many obstacles, he visits the Federal Republic of Germany for the first time as a tourist and decides to try to move with the whole family to the West. In 1990 the departure succeeds. This starts the construction of a completely new life in a completely unknown environment. The loss of friends and family members does not make it any easier. During this time he developed his passion for Russian mechanical watches from his old home and steadily expanded this private collection. Thus 1994 appears the first edition of his book "Russian collectors watches". Later follows the 2nd volume and further translations, further catalogs and publications in different watch magazines. All this lays the foundations for his company "Russian Collecting Clocks e.K.", founded in 1997, with which he has been operating successfully ever since.
