B&B Cortijo-Blanco is a 200 year old, modernised farm with swimming pool and sun terras. Located in the beautifull National Park Sierra María de Los Vélez, at 6 ha private land. Here you experience natures tranquility and silence. The luxurious appartments are modern and well equipped. Each appartment has its own private terrace and around the house there are many different places to lounge, or sit and read a book and enjoy the views of the mountains and valleys. You can cool down in the pool. There a endless possibilities to spend your day if you love culture, nature and sport. For example: mountainbiken, hiking, horse riding or visiting lovely authentic villages and cities. When you don't want to go out, you can take a dip in the swimming pool. The sunbeds have matrasses, bath towels and parasols. You can order food-on-wood with something to drink or enjoy a nice relaxing massage.

We, Johan and Ina, found this B&B after a year of searching for houses in Andalucia, Southern Spain. We live now on the first floor of the B&B. We are present to welcome you and when you leave. If you have any questions or need help, we are there for you, but we respect the privacy of our guests. In short: when you look for a vacation spot in nature, and you love to hike or mountainbike, you want to relax by the pool and enjoy lovely food and drinks, this is the perfect accommodation.

Hiking and mountainbiking: Because B&B Cortijo Blanco is situated in the National Park you can start right from the house. Golf: ​There are several golfcourses in the area, like the Lorca Golf Course or the 18–holes golfcourse Valle del Este in Vera. Beautiful villages and towns: Vélez-Blanco (castle), Vélez-Rubio, Maria (cave paintings), Guadix (cave dwellings), Lorca (baroc town), Cartagena (very interesting historic town and harbour), Murcia (climbing), Tabernas (filmstudios), Águilas (Costa Cálida), Almería, Granada (Alhambra). Horse riding: Various tours (from one hour to a whole day) are offered at a nearby riding school. They work with Knabstrupper horses. Watersports and beach: On the coast, an hour away by car, are several surf and sailing schools. You can rent boats there, dive, or sail with one of the fishing boats. The Costa Cálida has lovely sandy beaches and beautiful bays.
