After many years of working in London, we decided to create our idea of a perfect rural retreat, great food, wines and lovely rural suroundings all assisted by lovely local staff. Our Facebook blog, @lemontreeretreat shows the improvements we have been making, we hope you like them !

Situated just outside Granada in southern Spain, El Amparo is a beautiful Spanish farmhouse B&B, in the style of a traditional rural hotel of Andalucia. Surrounded by olive groves and wheat fields, Nick and Jody’s personal and friendly approach has seen El Amparo become a favourite with groups and families travelling to this area, which is reflected in their very positive TripAdvisor ranking. Ideally located for visiting the cities of Granada, Cordoba and Seville, it is a place of calm and tranquility, offering guests a romantic getaway, and an escape from the pressures of life, whilst still ensuring those creature comforts

Neighbourhood information

Close to Lake Bermejales a beautiful freshwater swimming lake, superb cycling, horse riding, and proximity to 2 of Spain's loveliest National Parks as well as being a great base for day trips to Granada, Cordoba and Seville..
