Surrounded by olive and almond trees, sitting on top of a mountain, Finca Águilar is welcoming you with a fantastic view and a promise: "Relax". Chilling at the pool or sun-bathing at one of our three terraces, you will calm down immediately, while enjoying fantastic mountain views of the Axarquia Valley! The next neighbour is more than 50 meters away, so you have full privacy while swimming in the big pool, discovering the 4000m2 big garden or grilling fresh fish at the BBQ. Make a fire in the chimney, lean back on the Sofa with a glass of Rioja or just chat with the others preparing the dinner in our open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Finca Águilar features 3 bedrooms (2 queensize beds with 1,60m and 2 single beds) , all equipped with new matresses and bedlinen in summer 2020. It has 2 full bathrooms and in total 3 showers (1 outside). The house has WiFi with broadband internet for the full house, so video-streaming or video calls work perfectly.

If you are a Nature or Sport Lover, this your house! Leaving the door step you can make hikes or a run directly from the house, while breathing refreshing mountain air and taking in the mediterranean sea views. Cycling fans can ride along the small and peaceful country roads or taking the challenge of the "Gran Fondo de Alfarnate", which is one of Andalucia's most popular amateur road cycling event, passing the house each year.

The house is the perfect spot for starting day trips to one of the seven world heritage sites surrounding the house. Just naming a few, the world heritage Alhambra Palace and gardens in Granada is 1 hour, the world heritage site of Torcal and Antequera is 30 minutes away. Malaga, the European Culture Capital of 2016 is 30 minutes and Cordoba, another world heritage site is merely 90 minutes away. Even the - of course - world heritage Jewel Seville can be done in a day trip, being 2 hours by car. The Mediterranean Sea and Costa del Sol is 30 minutes by car away, where you can enjoy the 300 annual sun days at one of the beaches or have a drink at one of the hip boulevards like Pedregalejo. If you are hungry, start the BBQ while chatting with your amigos in the pool or at the terrace lounge. Or go to one of the great restaurants in Colmenar, a white village just 10 minutes away. If you are up for an adventure, hike through the El Chorro canyon (45 min) or stand-up-paddle in the lake vinuela (20 min away).
