Located in Mozaga, the northern gateway to the famous La Geria wine region in Lanzarote, La Bodega de Florencio was, for many years, the heart of wine-making for the Perez-Perez family after it was built and managed by Florencio Perez Perez. Recently refurbished by his daughter, Marga, the fashion designer and artist behind the brand MargaMod, the Bodega offers simple refined luxury in a country setting. Overlooking vines and fruit trees from the terrace, the Bodega sits in a small rustic-luxury development of holiday apartments 'MozagaMod'. Check-in is from 1500 and check-out is up to 1100. Marga's work as a designer centres on sustainability - her island-based fashion work reuses and recycles materials and is recognised internationally through her brand MargaMod. She also works across architecture and interior design as shown by the recently completed MozagaMod, a small development of rustic-luxury relaxed holiday spaces at the heart of the island.

The Bodega is perfectly placed at the centre of the island offering a great starting point to explore in all directions. From the Monumento al Campesino, which is only a few minutes away by car, you can head north to explore the charms of historic Teguise (10 minutes), enjoy the beach, surf or just enjoy the laid-back vibe in Famara (13 minutes). If you head South through the wine area, within 6 minutes you arrive at El Grifo winery, and the Malpeis microbrewery next door. Continue a little further and you reach Bodega Stratvs in a little over 5 minutes followed closely by Bodegas Rubicon and Bodega La Geria. Interestingly, Casa Carrasco, which is undergoing a full restoration to serve as the new home of Bodegas Los Bermejos, will open shortly and is less than 5 minutes from the apartment. Closer to home in Mozaga, the Teleclub de Mozaga is a popular dining spot and bar and is a 2-minute walk away from the Bodega. Mozaga is perfectly located for walking and bike excursions sitting at the heart of many famed routes that thread across the island.
