In 2022 I made the leap and moved from London to Ontinyent! I am loving it, and I'm lucky enough to have this wonderful house that I am able to share with guests. I really enjoy exploring the area with all it has to offer, from amazing hiking routes to visiting vineyards. This town is a hidden gem and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Ontinyent is a wonderful historical town with a population of 36,000. Famed for its incredible Moors & Christians festivities, and for its contribution to Spain's textile industry, it's a town that has a great deal to offer for both foreign and local tourists. Surrounded by mountains, if you love hiking, cycling and exploring nature then Ontinyent is a perfect base. The town is a 6 minute drive to the beautiful natural pools of Pou Clar (or a 40 minute walk from the house). Only 1 hour to the coast, 1 hr to Valencia city, and 1 hour to Alicante, you are never far from everything you need. Ontinyent has a surprising amount of excellent quality restaurants and being in the heart of the Valencian wine country, is surrounded by fascinating wineries.
