We are a family run business which has been growing rapidly since Summer 2007. The company is the creation of Tila and Michelle Braddock. The concept of Lanzarote Retreats developed from Tila and Michelle´s desire to offer stylish & eco-friendly holiday accommodation, mainly in and around Arrieta, a stunning, rural village in the North of the island, which they love and where they brought up their family. These days the business is run by Joshua, their eldest son. From organising car hire, arranging days out, providing child and nursery equipment to recommending restaurants and beaches, the team at Lanzarote Retreats have over 20 years of experience of living, working, entertaining children and enjoying Lanzarote. This extremely spacious penthouse apartment boasts a master bedroom and a 2nd bedroom equipped with a king-size double bed and a single bed, as well as a double sofa bed in the living room offering sea views. The living room features high wood ceilings and panoramic views of the entire bay of La Cucharas, while its designer tiles and wood flooring create a modern and loft-like atmosphere. There is a wet room style bathroom with a walk-in shower and an additional toilet with a washbasin and hairdryer. The Ocean View Penthouse has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, smart TV with DVD, and all linen and towels are provided. While the villa does not have built-in air conditioning or central heating, fans and electric heaters are available on request to ensure your comfort year-round. The large terrace provides complete privacy for sunbathing and includes a shaded area and BBQ facilities for al fresco dining. The Ocean View Penthouse is situated in the heart of Costa Teguise, located on the upper level of the Las Maretas Centre with a selection of popular restaurants and lively bars below on the lower level. Live music is often featured on weekends and during holiday periods. Please be aware that on fiestas (bank holidays) and during Carnival week (which typically occurs in February or March) there will be a parade passing by the apartment area. Additionally, a stage is often set up with live music that continues into the early hours. We advise guests to anticipate increased noise levels during these times. Just a short stroll from the penthouse, the new Nua Shopping Centre is taking shape on the beachfront at Playa Las Cucharas. Soon to feature an enticing mix of restaurants, bars, and boutique shops, it’s set to bring even more buzz and variety to Costa Teguise. As the finishing touches are still in progress, you may notice a little daytime activity nearby, but it’s all part of the area’s transformation. The apartment is accessed from road level via stairs.

Today, Costa Teguise is a popular tourist destination, known for its excellent beaches, water sports, and vibrant nightlife. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities, from windsurfing and kiteboarding to hiking and cycling. If you are in Costa Teguise, we highly recommend a visit to Pueblo Marinero, a charming square composed of traditional Canary buildings designed by the artist César Manrique. In addition to its picturesque architecture, Pueblo Marinero offers a range of dining, drinking, and shopping options, including a Friday evening market starting at 19.00. Costa Teguise is known for its beautiful beaches, with crystal-clear waters and soft sand. Playa Las Cucharas: This is the main beach in Costa Teguise and is popular with both locals and tourists. Playa del Jablillo: This small, secluded beach is located to the north of Playa Las Cucharas and is perfect for those who want to get away from the crowds. The beach has white sand and turquoise waters, and there are a few bars and restaurants nearby. Playa de los Charcos: This beach is located in a natural cove and is known for its calm waters, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach has soft sand and is surrounded by rocky cliffs, giving it a secluded feel. Playa Bastian: Located to the south of Playa Las Cucharas, this is a quieter beach with a more relaxed atmosphere. The beach has soft sand and clear waters, and there are plenty of amenities nearby.
