The Posada Ignatius is a unique location situated on the crossroads of The Santiago Way and The Ignatian Way. The guesthouse is in a recently restored 15th century guesthouse which was the palace of The Duke of Najera. One of the Dukes' knights was Ignatius of Loyola (Founder of the Jesuits) who served the Duke from 1517 till 1521 and stayed at the palace. Step back in time in this unique guesthouse.

Navarrete is perfectly located for a multitude of activities. Not only is it on the Santiago Way and The Ignatian Way but is also just half an hour from a vast range of landscapes and trips. Right on our doorstep we have artisan potters and world famous wine. Logroño, famous for its tapas, is just 10 minutes away. There are walks in the mountains to the south and the north, dinosaur trails, skiing in winter, caves, michelín restaurants, medieval villages, festivals, the Basque Country, museums and vineyards all within less than 30 mins from Navarrete.
