My names Alejandro, am an Electrical Engineer, nature, travelling, sports and psychology enthusiastic. "Miguel's Shelter" is a rural cave house built in the late 19th century, it was digged into the stony mountains with the bare hands of the firsts landlords which has, through time, developed into what it is now, a cosy shelter in between the long wide valleys, sorrounded by nothing more than wild nature and peacefull ambience. Hiking, barbaque, sunbathin, walking around, home cinema, nights under clear sky full of stars, sightseeing area, family home, pets accepted, conforts from modern houses

San Mateo and Valsequillo and the nearby Tejeda are countryside towns where old lifestyle still remains, away from big cities, traffic and congestions they offer the perfect retirement spot for anyone looking for experiencing the feeling of waking up in between wild nature, pure air and a magic sky full of stars at nightfall. Nevertheless still offers the traveller and hosts all conforts such as restaurants, tourist information offices, modern medical facilities, or sports centres... Buses are going along main road which communicates the house with both towns centres but we do recomend hiring a car in order to go sightseeing and visiting other spots in the island which are totally recomendable and worth seeing.
