Sol y Luna was born from Carlos’ dream. Originally from Finland, Carlos has lived in Tenerife for over 30 years. At 74, he continues to share his passion for holistic living by opening this house as a sanctuary where like-minded and like-hearted people can meet, learn, and grow together. Nicolas, traveler of the soul, holistic therapist, teacher, astrologer, and author, brings his experience from more than 50 countries to Sol y Luna. With a background in sports science and education, psychology and years dedicated to Reiki, astrology, yoga, and holistic coaching, he guides guests into balance and renewal. Together, Carlos and Nicolas host a space that is more than a guesthouse: a home for rest, inspiration, and transformation, where every visitor is welcomed as part of the community.

Sol y Luna is a 100-year-old colonial house with inspiring architecture and the best 360° rooftop view in Puerto de la Cruz, from the Atlantic Ocean to the mystical Teide volcano. Surrounded by banana plantations, it is a sanctuary of peace and inspiration: quiet, yet only minutes from the city center. Guests can choose between cozy private rooms or shared spaces filled with natural light, and enjoy a lush garden, spacious terrace, and a rooftop perfect for sunrise or starlit nights and astronomical observation & photography. More than a guesthouse, Sol y Luna is a retreat in itself. We host events, circles, and transformative stays.
