Restaurants such as El Toro, La Cabana, La Tegala and Macher Cafeteria are all within 1 km distance. Lidel supermarket open all week is 4 mins drive open all week.

Villa Canto overlooks the ocean and the pool which will be your view looking south and the volcanic hills looking north, thus giving you a choice of going on a boat trip sailing or fishing or just relaxing, scuba diving, submarine trip, jet skiing, paragliding, or just swimming, snorkling and sunbathing all in less than a 4 mins drive. As for the north side one can go mountain biking in the lanes or long walks in the country lanes. You can also join a trekking company or go it alone on well rounted walks once again within 4 mins drive in the volcanic area of Timanfaya. Pony and horse riding as well as camel train rides are within 5 mins drive. As for the children and families Rancho Texas is a beautiful park to spend the day. Tias Golf course is 5 mins drive having an 18 hole course and all facilities.

Villa Canto is 15 mins drive to the Timanfaya Volcanic Park , a must if you have not seen an active volcano. As for eating out Puerto Calero Marina is a 5 min drive with all types of restaurants ie spanish, Italian, Japanese, Indian and chill out bars and high fashion shops. Puerto del Carmen old town once again is 5 min drive having beautiful restaurants and lovely views of the ocean. Puerto del Carmen promenade is just along the old town where one can walk along the sea side promenade and choose a restaurant or bar or shop all along the strip of more than 5 km. On the other end one can find lovely restaurants in the countryside such as Uga with its vineyards and wine tasting bars and restaurants.
