Villa Garcia is a restored old cortijo, full of charm, located in a traditional part of Almeria, where the pace of life is slow and the natural environment is very beautiful, but in close proximity to the coast and local attractions. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the surroundings but to be well connected to the coast, the mountains and the other amazing attractions that this part of Spain has to offer. Internally, there is a spacious living room / dining area with fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and three cosy bedrooms. The cortijo has wifi throughout, and all of the amenities you will need for your stay. The cortijo is set on a plot of land, in the middle of the Almerian countryside. There is a comfortable terrace where you can unwind and enjoy the year round sunshine. It is equipped with a seating area and BBQ. There is also a good sized pool, with sun loungers, to cool off during the hotter months of the year. The outdoor area is secluded and private. In addition, guests can wander around the cortijo’s olive and fruit groves. The cortijo is extremely peaceful and private, but not isolated.

I live in Sorbas, with my family. Mizala is my family home from generations ago, and it is a very special place. I look forward to welcoming guests to this special part of the world. Our family lives locally, but not directly near to the cortijo. We will always be on hand during your stay should you need any help, advice or other support.

Mizala is a small hamlet in the municipality of Sorbas, in Almeria. Sorbas is famous for its caves, which are located in a natural park, and are well worth a visit. The town itself hangs on a cliff above the Rio Aguas (dry riverbed) and is famed for its pottery, which is still made locally. Mizala is also very close to the coastline of Almeria, whether that is the beautiful Cabo de Gata park, or north towards Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha.
