We are a family run business which has been growing rapidly since Summer 2007. The company is the creation of Tila and Michelle Braddock. The concept of Lanzarote Retreats developed from Tila and Michelle’s desire to offer stylish & eco-friendly holiday accommodation, mainly in and around Arrieta, a stunning, rural village in the North of the island, which they love and where they live with their family. From organising car hire, arranging days out, providing child and nursery equipment to recommending restaurants and beaches, the team at Lanzarote Retreats have over 20 years of experience of living, working, entertaining children and enjoying Lanzarote. Enjoy the unique experience of a drink on the terrace as the sun sets over extinct volcanoes. Relax in the jacuzzi – newly installed for 2024, and create al fresco meals on the full-sized gas barbecue. All year round the large 10 x 5m pool is heated to an inviting 27+ degrees. It’s kind to skin and hair thanks to the salt-water chlorination system that was installed in 2023. It is set in its own terrace with a shallow built-in children’s pool and there are wide steps into both. Inside is large and airy; the contemporary decor and simple furnishings give the house a bright, airy and cool feeling throughout. The main lounge, dining and kitchen areas are adjoining with screens to open the space up or create individual areas to dine and relax in. The spacious and comfortable living room has plenty of room to sit, relax and entertain. It has a fireplace and to add to the open feel there are large doors onto the main terrace. There is a good free wifi connection, for those looking to stay in touch. There is also a separate games room with mini table tennis. This Lanzarote self-catering villa has a fully fitted kitchen and is next to the large dining area with an 8-person table. It accesses the terrace through the main door. It comes complete with oven/hob / grill, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. While the villa does not have built-in air conditioning or central heating, the bedrooms do have ceiling fans and electric heaters are available on request. The terrace has been newly renovated, offering direct access to the pool and featuring stylish new outdoor furniture. A safety gate can be installed across the terrace entrance for families. The villa is located in a a few minutes drive from the Old Town end of Puerto del Carmen in one direction and the smart marina development of Puerto Calera in the other. Both can be reached by walking along the dramatic coastal path.

Puerto Calero is only a few kilometres in distance from the bustling resort of Puerto del Carmen, but a world away in style and atmosphere. Home to some of the finest Lanzarote villas and hotels, as well as a good selection of bars and restaurants. The Marina is a great place to wander, look at the fabulous boats and generally soak up a bit of the luxury atmosphere that permeates the whole place. You can certainly spend a few hours sat in one of the cafes or great range of restaurants that overlook the marina. Puerto Calero is the base for a number of water based activities, such as the Catlanza catamaran trips, Submarine excursions and a variety of sport-fishing boats which allow you to try your skill at landing Marlin and Blue-fin Tuna in some of the best and most productive waters to be found. Puerto del Carmen comes with 3 sandy beaches. The main one, running along the promenade, is Playa Grande with its sunloungers, umbrellas and gently shelving shoreline. Walk for about 10 minutes and you come to Playa Chica in the old town. It’s a bit quieter and secluded, and the diving centre makes it popular with snorkelers and scuba divers.
