Majoitus Kuukkeli has been housing tourist traveling in Saariselkä for over 20 years. Under the Saariselän Kuukkeli Ltd, are e.g. Shopping Center Kuukkeli, where is Saariselkä's only grocery store K-Market Kuukkeli. The shopping center is on three floors, and on the top 2 floors are the Cafe-Eatery Kuukkeli and the K-Market Kuukkeli´s department for souvenirs, gift items, clothes and lot´s of more. K-Market Kuukkeli's department for groceries and other daily products is on the middle, 1st floor. On the same floor, there is also the Majoitus Kuukkeli office and reception, as well as Postal services and Matkahuolto parcels pick-up point. On the lowest ground floor is Kuukkeli Bicycle and Equipment Rental-Booking Office. The ground floor also has Saariselkä Alko (Finnish spirits store), Posti parcel machine, and a bottle recycling machine, which return receipts can be redeemed at K-Market Kuukkeli cashier. Taxi Kuukkeli picks up and takes you both near and far, and drives airport transportation with an advance booking.

Kuukkeli Apartments Vuotso holiday apartments are located in the center of Vuotso, the southernmost Sámi village in Finland, along highway 75/4 from Rovaniemi to Inari. Kuukkeli Apartments Vuotso offers various sizes of apartments for booking. The apartments are located in semi-detached houses within the same yard. The options provide diverse accommodations for two to six people. These A-building apartments have two bedrooms with separate beds. Additionally, there are two separate beds in the living room, so the apartment comfortably sleeps six people. The apartments have been recently renovated and furnished with modern amenities. Each one is cozy, clean, and well-equipped with modern facilities. The well-equipped kitchens have all the necessary utensils for cooking, including a dishwasher. The village's own shop, K-valinta Sieppi, is about 200 meters away. Other distances from Vuotso heading south are Sodankylä, which is about 90 km or an hour's drive, and Rovaniemi, about 215 km or just under a three-hour drive by car. Vuotso is an excellent accommodation spot for various northern day trips. Heading north, it is about 10 km to Tankavaara Gold Village. Saariselkä and Shopping Center Kuukkeli are 40 km away, about a 40-minute drive. Further north, Ivalo is about 72 km away. The distance to Inari village is about 110 km.
