Company information

My dear hobby is to take care of these houses, which belonged originally to my grand-grand-parents and make my best to offer an unique living for guests in Vaasa. I work in the It sector with the possibility to work from home and thus be available for guests. Other interests are music, I sing in a local choir and play some piano and summertime I like to spend time in our beautiful archipelago.

Property information

19th c. wooden house completely renovated 2015 with sauna and parking. A peaceful wooden house area 100m from city theatre. History and modernity in perfect balance in a very central location, two blocks from city square. The whole house is in your use, unique in center! Bicycles are available for your use as well as a large terrace with nice furinture, grill etc (summertimes). Long ago the house served as a bakery. In adjacent house 5 more apartments which guests also can book - look for Residence Kappsäcken.

Neighbourhood information

The house is very centrally located, the city theatre is in the adjacent block and the central square is two blocks away. Still the area is very calm, at the beginning of an old wooden house area called originally Kappsäcken is Swedish or Kappsäkki in finnish. It means suitcase, since in the old times poor people lived here and it was thought that all their belongings fit in a suitcase. Nearby on walking distance are all kinds of shops and restaurants, since we are in the absolute center.
