Kenttäniemi Cottages are located 40 minutes drive from Rovaniemi centre. It is a perfect place for guests willing to enjoy the nature, silence and peace of Lapland. The grounds of the two chalets are perfect for aurora spotting and photographing, as the nearest street lights are 9 km away. When staying in Kenttäniemi, it is possible for quests to swim and fish on the wilderness lake Mäntyjärvi. Both 3-bedroom-chalet and chalet have their own sauna.
Reindeer herder and entrepreneur Mr Pertti Mänty hosts his quests with the help of his family of three grown-up children and two grandchildren. They all enjoy outdoor activities, reindeer herding tasks and spending time in the surrounding nature. They want to share the authentic experiences with their guests!
400 metres from the Kenttäniemi Cottages is a traditional reindeer farm, where the guests can book a visit. On the farm there is also a small shop with reindeer products and local crafts. The nearest husky farm is 2,5 km from Kenttäniemi.
