Kimmelvilla, a recently finished, exquisite villa, nestles at the foot of Pyhätunturi, a prime location with immediate access to ski slopes and cross-country ski trails. We built the house for our family with love and respect for the nature. We hope this idyllic retreat offers you and your family or friends an opportunity to immerse yourselves in the serene beauty of Lapland's Arctic wilderness, a world away from the daily grind. If you are travelling with a larger group, there is also an option to rent the villa next door, Kimmelvilla B. This log-structured villa is a masterpiece of design, where a large, panoramic window in the living room effortlessly blends the outside forest landscape with the interior, creating a seamless nature experience. The use of natural materials combined with a modern Scandinavian design ethos results in a living space that is both aesthetically pleasing and deeply comforting. The interior, characterized by its warm and inviting atmosphere, is perfect for those who appreciate the finer things in life while seeking a connection with the great outdoors. Kimmelvilla consists of two identical villas (Kimmelvilla A and Kimmelvilla B) connected by a covered terrace and an outdoor sauna built for shared use The villa is two-storied and offers settings for both communal enjoyment and more private peace. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can cook a dinner elaborately or whip up a smoothie for a snack before the next activity in the embrace of nature. The villa has three bedrooms, with one located on first floor and two on the second floor. The first-floor bedroom has a 160 cm double bed, and the upstairs bedrooms have one 160 cm and one 140 cm double bed, respectively. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, with the downstairs bathroom also equipped with a shower. The communal sauna, located between the villas, is a place where you can relax after a long day of skiing or simply enjoy the warmth of the sauna with friends.
