Welcome to my home! Located right next to the starting point of Saariselkä outdoor trails, the newly renovated apartment features a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a large and comfortable sofa-bed, a dining area and a fireplace. Upstairs, you will find two single beds on the balcony, and one double bed in a separate bedroom. There is also a desk with a mountain view, making it suitable for remote working. The apartment has its own sauna, washing machine, dryer and parking lot. There is a direct 25-minute bus connection from Ivalo airport to Saariselkä departing from and returning to every flight. The nearest bus stop is at Holiday Club hotel, a 5-minute walk from the property.
I am a Finnish MSc engineer currently based in Ireland for work. I have also lived in France, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Switzerland, Taiwan and Singapore. Cross-country skiing and travelling enthusiast.
Saariselkä, a holiday resort village, is situated right next to the most visited national park of Finland. Famous for its scenic trails, frequent northern lights, reindeer farms and Sami culture, cross-country skiing tracks, and endless exploration opportunities in the wilderness, Saariselkä offers something for everyone.
