A two-story cottage in the middle of beautiful nature with a large terrace with an hot tub. Great location! Next to skitracks. There is also a separate small glazed veranda on the terrace. A large private peaceful yard and a barbecue hut with a glass roof. The cabin is well suited for families and small groups who enjoy the peace of nature and are interested in outdoor activities and Northern Lights. Well-maintained ski slopes and snowmobile trails run right next to the cottage in winter. The cottage has a well-equipped new kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, coffee and water kettle and toaster Two bedrooms, one upstairs. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. Upstairs, a double bed and a fold-out sofa bed with high-quality mattresses. A sofa bed and a TV can be spread out in the living room. In the living room, a beautiful slate fireplace also creates atmosphere. Firewoods are included in the accommodation price. At the end of the day, you can relax in the heat of the sauna in a good soak. A great place to look at the starry sky and see the northern lights, a little further from the lights of the city center. It is also possible to borrow 3 pairs of snowshoes and sledges to go down a hill. Big yard and forest where you can enjoy wintertime. Bedlines and towels are included on a price. The cottage has a travelcot for small children that you can use. We have renewed the wifi connection. The cleaning fee includes free use of the outdoor hot tub. The cabin is located next to the Ylläs ski center, near by Levi ski center. Ylläs is Finland's largest ski resort. You will find Finland's longest ski slopes and skitracks there. There are 62 slopes. There is also a lot of fun things to do for families with children, an indoor playground, sledding hills,a hut where you can grill sausages. Ylläs is especially popular with families and those who are interested in outdoor activities and Northern Lights. Ahvenkangas cottage area is a quiet and peaceful area in the middle of beautiful nature. The area is middle of forest and snowy fluffy trees. Ylläsjärvi is a village of about 300 inhabitants in the municipalities of Kolar and Kittilä, south of Yllästunturi. Ylläsjärvi is known as the gateway to the fells and Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and it is part of the Ylläs tourist center. The village is home to the Sport Resort Ylläs ski resort, which has the longest slopes in Finland. There are 330 km of cross-country ski trails around the village, 38 km of which are lighted and about 100 km of winter walking and winter cycling trails. From the village you can reach the 410 km long snowmobile trail maintained by Ylläs. In summer, there are mountain biking and hiking trails around the village. There are two islands in Ylläsjärvi, the larger of which has a fire pit. Ylläs has several equipment rental companies, the closest to us is Tunturi Flow.
