Luxury cottage in first class scenic location - with close attention to details. The magnificent view is towards the lake "Gróthúsvatn", the ocean, the mountains and the fields with sheep and a vivid birdlife. Accessible to wheelchairs. Outdoors there is a ramp for wheelchair users, leading up to a wide front door and the deck. The toilet is spacious and equipped with an elevation bathtub/changing bed. There are no differences in levels on the ground floor and one of the bedrooms has a wide door. The loft however, is only reachable by steep stairs.

The cottage is set in raw and dramatic - yet so utterly peaceful surroundings by the lake Gróthúsvatn. It is a cabin-only area, however a two minute walk takes you to the village of Sandur where you can do your local shopping. Sandur is the biggest village on Sandoy. Here you are in middle of the Faroese nature, which can be both pleasantly quiet, rough and violent. Sometimes with all the different scenarios within the same day.
