The apartment is located in the centre of Tórshavn, a stone-throw away from the marina. Within a five-minute radius walk, there is a charming grocery store, several restaurants and bars, designer shops, and sightseeing attractions such as the old part of Tórshavn and the Tórhavn Cathedral. By the marina, you can sometimes buy freshly caught fish from one of the fishermen. Within the same 5 minutes radius you can find bus stops for the city bus and even the tourist centre, and if you have a car, there is a huge parking lot next to the marina. Ad 5 minutes to the radius, and you have even more options, the shopping centre, the bus and ferry terminal taking you out of Tórshavn, the old historical forth and even more restaurants and bars. The location invites you to an evening stroll in Tórshavn to get a sense of how the locals enjoy life, or a morning stroll watching Tórshavners rush to work or better still, watch as the small fishing boats sail out for a catch of cod from the marina.
