A recently renovated, spacious 1st floor apartment in a traditional house in the heart of Rochefort en Terre. There is a large well lit, comfortable, living room with a dining area leading to a kitchen. The kitchen has cooking facilities (hot plates and microwave) and a fridge. The bedroom contains one double and one single bed ( there is a sofa bed in the living room for additional guests) There is a shower room and separate WC. Parking is available on nearby streets.

Rochefort en Terre is a unique medieval village full of character and with a rich history. This village, with its floral displays has won many accolades over the years: ‘Village Prefere des Francais’, ‘Petit Cité de Charactére’ and listed among the most beautiful villages in France. The village offers much to interest visitors: the many resident artists and artisans, the shops selling local produce and the many restaurants to suit various tastes and budgets. From Rochefort en Terre there are many very pleasant country walks and access to GR38 for the serious hikers. There are several markets in towns close by; e.g. Questembert (11 kms) or Vannes (33 kms). Vannes also offers much more to enchant the visitor: Museums, old town centre, ramparts, restaurants, quayside walks, and access to the islands in the Gulf de Morbihan. Finally, many beautiful Breton beaches and coastal walks are only about 30 minutes away by car.
