Self-contained ensuite bedroom with its own entrance on the ground floor.The room remains cool in summer and underfloor heating makes it warm in the winter. Guests have particularly commented on how quiet the room is. The house is 200+ years old and has been totally renovated. In the summer months (weather permitting) breakfast is served in the garden.
Originally from the UK, I have been living in France for 7 years, after a career which took me to many countries around the world. My constant companion is Rafi, a 5 year old cockerpoo. Together we look forward to welcoming people to our home! Recent guests said «  nous avons passé un très bien séjour. Personne très gentille et agréable »
Varen is a small but very attractive and friendly village with lots of amenities including a small supermarket, post office, pharmacy. Maison de Santé, hairdresser and two gift shops. There is also a bar which serves lunches from Monday to Friday and a fine dining restaurant located on the bank of the river in the old mill. The centre of the village is very historic and attracts many visitors.
