Chateau de Camiole is a beautiful village resort located in a unique hillside setting 25 minutes north of Cannes. The small Provencal-style gated village resort has 3 pools, (1 indoor), gym, bar and restaurant. The communal facilities are open from April to the end of September and comprise: - Reception area - Restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner (reservation necessary) - Pool bar and restaurant - 2 large heated outdoor pools - Toddler pool - Outdoor jacuzzi - Indoor pool (at additional cost) - Spa / beauty centre (treatments and access at additional cost). - Gym, with running machines, bikes, elliptical runners etc (at additional cost) Our ground floor apartment has 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 x single beds), and there is a 5' wide sofa bed in the lounge area. Triple patio doors lead to the large, west-facing ground floor private terrace for outdoor dining (or snoozing) which leads out onto one of the three beautiful squares.

Situated below the Roman village of Callian, this area is steeped in culture, history and exquisite architecture. In the heart of Fayence county, which consists of seven old hilltop villages dating from the Roman period and Middle Ages with cobbled streets and picturesque squares typical of the South of France. Chateau de Camiole is set around 3 squares with beautiful views of the hills and the neighbouring hilltop villages of Callian and Montauroux. Located 1km from Callian, 25 mins from Cannes, 40 mins from Nice airport, 10 mins from Lac de St-Cassien with its restaurants and water sports, with nearby attractions including the Golf de Terre Blanche, the Fayence gliding centre, and the beaches of the Cote d'Azur. It is not far from the hustle and bustle of the French Riviera and the towns of Nice, Antibes, Cannes, St Raphaël and St Tropez.
