住宿信息
Located in a very pleasant natural setting just outside the city, this B&B offers a delightful stay just a stone's throw from Montargis, a picturesque town in the Centre-Val-de-Loire region, an hour south of Paris.
Nestled between the Briare Canal and the Loing River, near the Lac des Closiers, it offers a peaceful haven combining direct immersion in nature and walking distance to the town, via its new marina.
Montargis, the little "Venice of the Gâtinais," is an exotic destination, listed among the "100 Most Beautiful Detours in France" due in particular to its vast and unique network of canals and rivers, connected by 132 bridges and footbridges.
Its charming alleyways, picturesque islands, flower-filled locks, half-timbered houses, and historic buildings invite you to stroll and explore.
Montargis thus offers an interesting variety of cultural and outdoor activities: visits to the Franco-Chinese Friendship Museum, strolls through the Pêcherie district, the Bridges Circuit, paintings at the Girodet Museum, tasting artisanal confectionery at the "Maison de la Prasline Mazet," and water sports such as rowing (introductory courses every Saturday morning) or sailing.
For hiking enthusiasts or those who enjoy the "Petite-Reine" (Little Queen), whether beginners or experienced, the region also offers a wealth of hiking trails and green two-wheeled routes, including the renowned European Scandibérique cycle route, which connects to the Loire Valley.
A few tourist attractions are worth a detour: the small, charming town of Ferrières-en-Gâtinais, the Paucourt Forest, the Nogent-sur-Vernisson National Arboretum, and the Lorris Museum of the Resistance and Deportation. To the south, the Loire is also dotted with the charming Briare Bridge, the Abbey of Saint-Benoît, and the castles of Sully and Gien.
This B&B is therefore a prime location for rest, relaxation, culture, and adventure. The accommodation is not accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
