La Bonne Voie is located in Lembras, in close proximity from Bergerac in the Dordogne, France, on the gentle slopes and between the prestigious vineyards of the Pécharmant. The location facilitates the tranquility of the countryside and the proximity of the city of Bergerac with all its amenities within easy reach.
A confluence of circumstances and events made us decide in autumn 2021 to sell our house in Arnhem the Netherlands, where we had lived for 20 years. We went ‘Op de Bonnefooi’ for France, to find a new house, peace, space, beautiful weather, good food, good wine and the good life.
When you come to stay with us, you can of course stay in your room all day or lie by the pool. But you can also get out and about. There is plenty to do in the region. You can go hiking or cycling nearby or in Bergerac. Take a drive to the Château of Monbazillac, or taste wine in one of the many vineyards around Bergerac. Visit a (gourmand) market, go horse riding, play golf, cruise on the Dordogne, canoe and, of course, enjoy the delicious food and drink of this region in one of Bergerac's fine restaurants.
