In a peaceful village of the Haut-Clunisois, Pannonica is a countryside house nestled in greenery. It is part of a former farm where we live as a family — two musician-artists with our two children. We are happy to share our simple and quiet lifestyle. The large garden is shared with our friendly animals (cats, dogs, chickens, a rabbit), and includes garden tables, a barbecue, swing, and trampoline. We keep the grass high, mowing only pathways to protect biodiversity. The house is cozy and family-friendly: 5 bedrooms, 12 beds (3 single, 3 double, 1 Japanese futon for 2, 1 sofa bed for 2), with some interconnecting rooms ideal for families with kids. Two baby travel cots available on request. There’s a workspace and a play area for children. Located 3 min from the RCEA, 15 min from Cluny, 25 min from the TGV station. The region is beautiful, full of hiking trails and places to explore. Welcome to our peaceful haven!
We are a couple of musician-artists with two children. We share with you our love for music and literature, the artworks of our family, and our affection for nature and animals. Please note that we are not tourism professionals — we simply open our home and way of life with a desire to share. The house is simply furnished, but functional and well-suited for families.
The house overlooks a charming raspberry-colored Italian-style château. It belongs to an American artist who often comes to spend his holidays in the village. The château once belonged to a friend of Lamartine, who is said to have built it to win over an Italian woman — who, in the end, never came. In the village, you can also discover old washhouses, the lovely Saint Fiacre fountain, a church whose bells still ring, and the characteristic hedgerows (bocage) of our region.
